Henk Viëtor MD, PhD [1963], Chief Executive Officer
Henk Viëtor obtained his M.D. from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, his Ph.D. in immunology at the Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands, and continued to specialize in Clinical Genetics at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, the Netherlands. He published numerous articles in first-tier scientific journals and has been editor of a leading American medical journal. Henk Viëtor is an entrepreneur in the life sciences industry and has (co-)founded several biotechnology companies, including Drug Discovery Factory, Skyline Diagnostics and DC4U. Henk Viëtor is responsible for medical affairs, scientific programs and negotiations regarding funding and licensing agreements.

Yvette van Kooyk is co-founder of DC4U and also holds the position of professor at the VU University Medical Centre in Amsterdam where she heads the division Dendritic Cell Immunobiology. She received her PhD (cum laude) at the University of Amsterdam, supervised more than 20 PhD projects and has an outstanding track record for scientific excellence. She pioneered a number of disciplinary fields within medicine and made several major breakthrough discoveries in the field of infectious diseases and cancer. Yvette van Kooyk is a named inventor on 4 patent applications, has (co-) authored more than 180 peer-reviewed publications in international well renowned scientific journals like Cell, Nature and Nature Immunology. Within DC4U, Yvette van Kooyk is responsible for general scientific management and drug discovery.
